What’s in the name?
“Penderview Events” isn’t just some classy or swanky sounding business name. There’s a backstory to this brand, and we’re super excited to share it with you all.
In June of 2021, our founder Anna was so graciously gifted with her current home. Her grandfather, her Opa, very generously helped her to purchase the condo she now lives in, making her a homeowner in Fairfax, VA at age 29. The place she now calls home is in the “Penderbrook Square” neighborhood, and she lives on a street called “Penderview Terrace.”
When we think of Penderview Events, we all immediately think of Anna’s home on Penderview Terrace and her extremely generous grandfather. We think of paying it forward, as he’s so graciously given Anna so much, We all now feel compelled to give back to those around us. We feel called to invite others into this business based on generosity, and to do so with a deep joy and gratitude for those we invite in. We feel compelled to draw others into the welcome and generosity Anna so powerfully experienced, and give our clients that same experience, wherever we meet, too.
Are you ready to be a part of this brand, this vision, this kind of welcome? It’s a given at Penderview Events that the events we seek to plan for you are overflowing with incredible vision, bringing people together, and doing so in a way that’s fun and worth everyone’s while. In essence, this business is about leaving a lasting impression beyond the event itself; we want to leave clientele and their guests coming back for more.
Sadly, on October 31st, 2022, Anna’s Opa passed on, “graduating to Heaven” as you may say. Anna is incredibly happy for him, and yet so sad still. This man was a man of incredible generosity, “an attitude of gratitude,” and lived out such a powerful narrative of forgiveness.
He lived through World War II, has a rags to riches story, was an entrepreneur himself, starting the first OBGYN practice in Manassas, VA over 50 years ago, and was such a family man. He even got to meet his first great-grandson, Henry, pictured above before he passed! Anna loves her Opa dearly, misses him daily, and was extremely close to him.
He really has so profoundly impacted her life and has left an amazing legacy for Anna’s family. She feel so compelled now, as already mentioned, to pay it forward. Anna loves what she does, and she really loves living within his legacy! Thankful is an understatement.

All about our Founder, Anna.
Life really isn’t “all about me.” One of the most freeing realizations I’ve made in my life has actually been that the exact opposite is true. And, in that realization, I’ve come to know that service to others, focusing on others and bringing them joy, whether in my work or my life in general, is one of the greatest gifts I could offer.
I’ve said here already too that I want all of the events I plan to be not only in service to others, but also authentically them. I want the events I plan to be true to the people I’m serving. There really isn’t a better feeling in event planning.
In my free time, I love the gym, my morning cup of coffee, spending time with friends, dancing, attending and serving at my church, and finding special ways to bring others joy! I also have two other business endeavors (which you’re welcome to check out, too!): one of which goes along with Penderview Events: my Etsy shop! And I also sell Arbonne on the side. :)

Meet Tess.
Hi all! My name is Tess Canning and I am so excited to be working alongside Anna and Penderview Events! I love working events as that is my full-time job as well.
Helping couples plan and execute their perfect day is one of my most favorite things. Outside of work, I love to hang with family and friends and work out at Orangetheory!
Meet Kim.
Hello! My name is Kim and I am so excited to work with Anna and her team. I came across her while looking for a coordinator for my own wedding. She created such a peaceful atmosphere and answered all my questions. Her and her team made our day so stress free and we didn’t worry about anything except being present with each other along with our friends and family. It meant so much to me, that I wanted to be a part of her team and provide a stress free wedding day for others.
Outside of event coordinating, I make stained glass artwork, I work as an Aerospace Engineer and spend my days with my husband and border collie.
Meet Lindsey.
Hey there! My name is Lindsey and I am so grateful to be part of the Penderview Events family. Working with Anna has been such a pleasure and I am so looking forward to continuing to serve alongside her. Helping others bring their dreams to life and supporting them through the whole process is such a joy, and doing it with Penderview Events is the cherry on top! I also work in wellness as a Holistic Lifestyle Coach and get especially excited when I get to weave these two worlds together.

Hey all, my name is Jessica Moreno! I love Penderview Events because we not only produce excellent, high quality events and event coordination, but we do it with a radiant positivity that makes everything much more enjoyable and fluid.
I'm excited to join the team because I love having the opportunity to play a role in making someone's special day - wedding or event - run smoothly. Looking forward to working with some of you in the future!
Meet Shannon.
Hi my name is Shannon Long and I am so excited to be working alongside Anna and the other wonderful women at Penderview Events! After planning my own wedding and having lovely ladies help coordinate the day of I grew a great appreciation for all of the hard work and detail that go into making a day so magical. I love being able to do that for other brides.
Outside of Penderview, I am a teacher, wife, lover of yoga and animals! I look forward to helping you coordinate your big day!
Meet Deenalin.
Hello everyone! My name is Deenalin Crook and I am beyond thrilled to work alongside Anna with Penderview Events. Inspiring others to experience the joy and abundance of life are passions of mine and I anticipate that you will create beautiful memories through the excellence of Penderview Events.
Alongside event planning, I am a full time teacher. In my free time I love to paint with oils and own a fine art business.
